TERMINATOR COLLECTIBLES: Taking a closer look at the T2-3D Souvenir Stein Mug!

Any Terminator fan who has been fortunate to experience the “T2 3-D: Battle Across Time” ride at Universal Studios knows that leaving the attraction is just as much fun as entering it.  That is because as you exit, viewers are treated to a souvenir shop dedicated exclusively to Terminator official merchandise!  And one of our favorite pieces of licensed merchandise available at this store happens to be the T2-3D Souvenir Stein Mug!

Since this fantastic stein mug is not available anywhere else, we decided to take a closer look at this terrific item, for all the Terminator fans who have not yet been able to witness the Terminator souvenir shop on their own!

The T2-3D Souvenir Stein Mug is approximately 7 inches in height, and weighs almost a hefty 1.5 lbs without any liquid in it.  It features a wide-grip handle, large enough for the biggest of hands, and features both “T2-3D” and “Universal Studios” on the front of the mug, as well as a sinster looking T-800 endoskull!  Let’s turn it slightly.

The T2-3D Souvenir Stein Mug can hold both hot and cold beverages, up to 24 ounces.  While this stein mug is heavy, it is not made of steel.  Unfortunately while revealed to be made in Thailand, its exact make-up has not been publicly disclosed.  What we can tell you is this is not plastic, and certainly has weight to it (and feels like it would shatter if dropped from a distance).  Let’s turn it some more.

A sign of a good mug is how it can handle microwaves and diswashers, and we are happy to report that the T2-3D Souvenir Stein Mug is both Microwave and Dishwasher safe.  It normally retails for $18.95 at Universal Studios, but has sold for as much as $50.00 on the secondary market!

And here is almost a 360 degree look at the sculpted artwork around the mug:

We hope you enjoyed this closer look at the T2-3D Souvenir Stein Mug. If you have a chance to get your hands on one, we highly recommend it!

We’ll be back.
