“TERMINATOR 2: 3-D” Attraction is CLOSING at Universal Studios Orlando, Florida.

With a heavy heart we are saddened to report that the Universal Studios, Orlando Florida attraction T2 3-D: Battle Across Time will close its doors for good this October 2017.

Yes, Universal Orlando Resort announced today that the attraction created by James Cameron and featuring actors Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert Patrick, Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong will host its last show on Sunday, Oct. 8th.

We had hoped the attraction that originally opened April 27, 1996 (and spawned two duplicate sites in California and Japan) would stay open with the knowledge that James Cameron will be likely be producing a new Terminator trilogy, but alas it was not meant to be.

The closure of T2 3-D: Battle Across Time is said to make way for a new live action experience based upon an unannounced Universal franchise, which will open in 2019.

We’ll be back.

Editors Note: The T2 3-D attraction had near death experiences before. Read about it HERE.
