First, it was announced in July that the Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D Endo Arm Special Edition blu-ray set would make its way to the homes of fans the first week of October! Then in August, we reported that the entire T2 in 3D title was delayed almost an entire month later (not just the Endo Arm set) with a new target release date of October 30th to November 7th (depending on where you live.) Well now, yet again, there is another delay!
Fellow Army member Robert received an e-mail today from the UK based company zavvi about a brand new delay impacting the Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D Endo Arm Special Edition. He shared it with us below:
Thank you for placing order with us.
We are sorry to let you know the release date has changed, as of yet we are unable to confirm when the new release date will be.
However, we will be sure to keep you updated via email as soon as we have any further information.
Apologies for the delay and any inconvenience this may cause.
If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.
So zavvi said the “release date has changed, as of yet we are unable to confirm when the new release date will be.” Not being able to provide fans a new release date is definitely bad news, which can only get worse if they cancel the Endo Arm edition all together. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.
We have no official word on how this impacts other T2 in 3D Endo Arm sets in different countries like the Lionsgate version, but since the Endo Arms all come from the same manufacturing plant, we assume all of them will be postponed too.
We assume this will new delay will not affect the single disc release dates of October 30th – November 7th (depending on the country you live in.)
We’ll be back.
Thanks again to Robert!
