“TERMINATOR 6” set construction is underway at the same studio used for “Blade Runner 2049”, Origo Studios!

The sixth film in the Terminator franchise has landed a filming home in Budapest, Hungary! That’s right, Terminator 6 will be doing most of it’s filming in Origo Film Group Studios, the same facility used to film 2017’s “Blade Runner 2049” and “Atomic Blonde“! In fact, they have already begun the construction of sets for T6!

Origo Film Group owns the largest Studio in Hungary with 9 soundstages totaling 18,000 square meters (195,000 square feet). All their stages are fitted with heating and air conditioning, full overhead grid and large loading doors.

It proved a fantastic location for filming “Blade Runner 2049” and we are certain it will be a fantastic location for James Cameron and Tim Miller’s new entry in the Terminator universe!

Now we have not been made aware of any leaked pics coming out of productions being filmed at Origo before, so we doubt we will see any pictures of the “Terminator 6” sets currently under-construction (unless Skydance decides to release some of course!)  Either way, it’s exciting news for sure!

We’ll be back
