On Tuesday, September 19th at the Paramount Theatre in Los Angeles, California, Terminator history was made! This is when the creator of the Terminator franchise, James Cameron, marked his return to the universe we know and love by officially announcing his involvement with Terminator 6. While we covered all of the stunning details within our news reports, only approximately 200 people were able to actually witness the filmmakers speak about this new upcoming Terminator film. The rest of the Terminator fans had to resort to only reading about it…. until now!

Hot on the heels of Studiocanal announcing the United Kindom will get a full week of Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D in cinemas, Distrib Films US has just announced that T2 in 3D will play for another week in the United States… in select theaters!
And the Terminator fans from the United Kingdom originally thought Americans were the lucky ones! Originally planned as a single one day theatrical showing, when Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D blew away the August competition in the UK to take the #1 box-office spot on Judgment Day, August 29th (as reported HERE), things had suddenly changed.
Late July it was announced that Terminator 2: Judgment Day is coming to home video this October 3rd in the United States, released by Lionsgate! Many fans were frustrated with the lack of 3D disc, but now fans have something additional to be frustrated with: A delay.
Well in some countries the T-800 Model 101 still has it! While the remastered 3D conversion on Terminator 2: Judgment Day faltered in the United States, T2 in 3D’s one day showing on August 29th (Judgment Day) in the United Kingdom blew away the August competition to take the #1 box-office spot for one day!
While Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D premiered several days ago this past weekend for much of the world, the loyal Terminator fans in the United Kingdom had to wait until today, August 29th, Judgment Day, to experience the theatrical re-release of this classic science fiction film!
