The moment we all dreaded is here. Today is the last day Terminator fans can attend the Universal Studios Orlando, Florida attraction “T2 3-D: Battle Across Time”. This was the attraction that started it all, and spawned two sister sites in California and Japan (which only the latter in Japan remains.) This was the first. This was the original. This was the best.
In this second episode of the Official Podcast of Skynet’s Army, we introduce the Terminator Mailbag segment, we get angry and excited over “Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D”, and say goodbye to “T2 3-D: Battle Across Time”!
With a heavy heart we are saddened to report that the Universal Studios, Orlando Florida attraction T2 3-D: Battle Across Time will close its doors for good this October 2017.
Any Terminator fan who has been fortunate to experience the “T2 3-D: Battle Across Time” ride at Universal Studios knows that leaving the attraction is just as much fun as entering it. That is because as you exit, viewers are treated to a souvenir shop dedicated exclusively to Terminator official merchandise! And one of our favorite pieces of licensed merchandise available at this store happens to be the T2-3D Souvenir Stein Mug!
Most fans are aware of the amazing Terminator themed attraction titled T2 3-D: Battle Across Time. Originally developed for the theme park ‘Universal Studios Florida’ in 1996, this ride where live performers interacted with 3D film was produced like a sequel to the blockbuster film “Terminator 2: Judgment Day”, reuniting director James Cameron with actors Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, Edward Furlong, and Robert Patrick.
